WORK HISTORY

Digital Designer

Freelance | 2021 - 2024

Creating design solutions including but not limited to: brand identities, product visualisations, websites, motion graphics, posters, and logos.

As a freelancer, I have worked on a variety of projects and have worn many hats. Some of my standout projects are:

A rebranding for Zettel Notes , a note app with 10 000+ downloads.
As part of the redesign, I:

Redesigned the logo and app icon, ensuring that the design followed accessibility and platform standards.
Designed a responsive website showcasing the app and its features. The website followed the brand identity I previously designed.

Design for the London based production, Trump L'oeil. I was responsible for:

Motion graphics and visuals for use in the production.
Posters, illustrations, banners, cards, and other elements for the associated website and social media accounts.

Digital Designer

Brand Fusion | 06 / 2023 - 07 / 2023

I worked with a team of highly skilled designers, solving problems for large-scale businesses and state-owned enterprises.

This allowed me to get acquainted with the design industry and the demands of businesses, both large and small.

During my time at Brand Fusion, I worked on two key projects:

The first was for the Outspoken Owls podcast: IOL article , Youtube clip
My responsibilities included:

Collaboration on the design of the logo
The creation of the intro and outro sequences, as well as transitions
The design of channel banners and profile pictures for social media

My second project was for Brand South Africa , the official marketing agency of South Africa. I worked alongside a video editor to produce a promotional video. My responsibilities entailed:

Providing motion graphics to compliment the footage
Visual treatment and colour grading of footage
Assistance with video editing and syncing of audio

I am also adapt at translating UX blueprints into design compositions and interactive prototypes using Figma.I have experience developing and using design systems.
